Join our dynamic IT Community Care Services team as a student contributor, where you’ll gain hands-on experience and mentorship from seasoned IT professionals. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to apply your academic learning in a real-world setting, while developing key skills in creativity, adaptability, and collaboration within a geographically distributed workforce. As part of this team, you’ll support IT systems and solutions for Population Public Health and Indigenous Health programs, with a focus on Communicable Disease Outbreak Management. Your contributions will include: Assisting in the creation of technical documentation. Supporting the development of sustainable IT solutions. Investigating and diagnosing system issues. Contributing to the stability and reliability of operational systems. This position is open to current students only. You must be actively enrolled and continuing your studies in the upcoming academic term. Applicants must reside in Alberta for the duration of the placement. Current enrolment in a co-op/work experience program in IT, Science, Engineering or Business-related field. Registered in a related field of study at a Canadian post-secondary institution.
Additional Required Qualifications:Ability to work both independently and as part of a professional team. Ability to communicate confidently and professionally. Ability to take initiative and be responsible. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong presentation skills. Self-directed, highly motivated, results driven. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
