There is flexibility as to the location of this position within the Province of Alberta. At the time of appointment, the successful candidate may discuss location options with the hiring manager (office/home office/hybrid). The students will be required to attend meetings and workshops in person in the office. Various Information Technology Co-op Student positions are available. Alberta Health Services (AHS) is Canada’s first and largest province-wide, fully integrated health system, responsible for delivering health services to the over four million people living in Alberta, as well as to some residents of Saskatchewan, British Columbia, and the Northwest Territories. Students that have graduated or will graduate before the placement begins are not eligible to apply. All students must reside in Alberta during their employment with AHS, and do not subsidize relocation expenses.

Current enrolment in a CO-OP/Work experience program in IT, Science, Engineering or Business-related field. Registered in a related field of study at a Canadian post-secondary institution.
Additional Required Qualifications:Ability to work both independently and as part of a professional team. Ability to communicate confidently and professionally. Ability to take initiative and be responsible. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong presentation skills. Ability to multi-task. Self-directed, highly motivated, results driven. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Excel, Word, Power Point, Share Point and more) and other computer applications; knowledge of at least one programing language is preferable.
