Required Qualifications:

Required Qualifications: A Journeyman certificate is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Journeyman Cook papers required. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Knowledge of regular, texture modified and therapeutic diets. Able to work independently, yet still capable of working as part of a team. Able to follow directions and guidelines. Must have excellent time management skills; able to plan for deadlines. Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills. Must demonstrate high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. One-year recent institutional large quantity cooking experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Occasionally required to lift weights of 20kg. Exposure to temperature changes in workplace. Required to work electrical equipment. Exposure to noise and vibrations. Required to stand for entire work shift. Hands in water for long periods of time. Must be able to work holidays/weekends and work flexible hours as work load demands.
