University degree – post-graduate degree in administration or business discipline, or specialized legal/paralegal training is preferred; equivalencies of education and experience will be considered. A minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in an organization of significant size, scope, complexity and diversity.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Experience in the legal administration of clinical research is preferred as is experience working with health-related legislation and research requests. Ability to understand complex legal language, discern material changes to legal language, work efficiently with time-sensitive material, communicate effectively in multiple formats to numerous stakeholders, and negotiate effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated strong human-networking, critical thinking, critical analysis, audience-appropriate communication, negotiation and advanced writing skills preferred. Past experience with research contracts within a healthcare or academic institution considered an asset; experience drafting and executing contracts. Knowledge and Skills: contracts/agreements/legal, communications, management and negotiation.
