Your Opportunity:

The Business Advisor supports the operational work of the provincial Diagnostic Imaging (DI) program. The Advisor has relevant work experience to assist in projects, trials, and program initiatives and works under the guidance of the DI provincial leadership teams. The Advisor assists in tracking and monitoring DI contracts, invoicing, account coding for equipment, equipment service and consumables. The Advisor has a clear understanding of DI business processes related to consumable usage. Accurate inventory of the agreements and contracts that have been executed will be tracked and monitored by the Advisor.

Description:

The DI Consumables Consultant supports Diagnostic Imaging (DI) operations by managing consumable supply needs and vendor relations. This role liaises with end users to coordinate purchasing requirements, provides information on alternate products and substitutions, and gathers pricing, product, and volume data. The Consultant facilitates product requests with vendors and collects feedback on vendor performance and service issues. They provide consumable supply data to Contract, Procurement, and Supply Management (CPSM), track and monitor contracts, payments, cost increases, and product changes. Ensuring accurate functional center and account coding on invoices is essential. The role maintains organized documentation on SharePoint, archives expired documents, and updates contract sections regularly. The Consultant facilitates and monitors trial requests, ensuring proper documentation and communication of contract expiry dates. They utilize AHS financial and procurement systems to initiate contract and purchase requisitions, as well as CPSM Data Integrity and Inventory Request forms. Staying current with AHS practices and processes, the Consultant ensures requisition accuracy and supports end users in navigating procurement and trial workflows. They contribute to program initiatives and operational planning, exchange information across teams and departments, and use standardized communication tools. The role involves engaging stakeholders to resolve issues and providing informed recommendations to support decision-making.

Required Qualifications:

Post secondary education in a health-related field, with additional contract management and/or financial certification(s), or post-secondary education in contract management with additional diagnostic imaging and/or financial certification(s).


Additional Required Qualifications:

3-5 years of progressively senior level roles in a multi-site health environment, in assigned contract management positions. Technical proficiency with office systems and related applications. Aptitude for details and generating accurate documentation. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Familiar with the LEADS framework. Proficient in contract management processes. Proven organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet expectations without deficiencies.


Preferred Qualifications:

Diploma or degree from an accredited school of Diagnostic Imaging, Contract Management and/or financial institution.
