Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in a health related field. Active or eligible for registration with applicable professional association or college. Minimum two years' experience working within Mental Health. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS - HCP). Possession of a valid driver's licence and access to a motor vehicle in good repair for work-related travel.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Experience working with a multidisciplinary team and community agencies. Experience with evaluation and report writing. Specific knowledge of mental health services and community resources. Experience in inter-professional and multi-site collaboration. The ability to engage and work with a diverse client population is essential. Solid knowledge foundation of intervention and treatment modalities relevant to suicide, addiction, family violence and psychiatric disorders. Comprehensive knowledge of relevant community resources and legislation. High degree of creativity and flexibility as well as the ability to work independently in an outreach capacity. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, high level of interpersonal skills. Ability to set priorities and organize time effectively. Ability to work in stressful, demanding and changing conditions. Ability to work collaboratively as part of several multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Two years experience working with individuals with complex mental health needs is preferred. Recent mental health or related experience is required, community experience is preferred. A minimum of two years’ experience working with individuals with complex mental health needs is preferred.
