Required Qualifications:

Baccalaureate degree in a health care profession, business, or related field required with current registration and membership in good standing with a professional regulatory college as required. A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive and related experience.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Adult education and prior staff development experience essential. Demonstrated understanding of adult learning principles and practices including identification of learning needs, application of knowledge to practice and facilitation of practice change to reflect Collaborative Care principles and practices. Ability to mentor adults in a collaborative supportive manner that allows them to model, observe and provide constructive feedback to colleagues. Demonstrated working knowledge of Collaborative Care, Patient and Family Centered Care, and Quality Culture. Flexible, creative and able to adapt easily to a changing environment. Experience working with a variety of stakeholders at a provincial level. Skilled collaborator with strong interpersonal / communication skills who can develop open and trusting relationships with leaders, mangers and providers and collaborate with colleagues to promote learning and success. Knowledge and demonstrated competence in systems thinking, change management, and leadership strategies. Team leadership skills, including demonstrated ability and comfort in decision making, collaboration, relationship building, coaching, mentoring and teaching, and the ability to inspire, motivate and foster high performing teams. Experience in program planning, execution, reporting, monitoring and evaluation. Travel within the Edmonton Zone required; Provincial travel required occasionally.

Preferred Qualifications:

A combination of relevant education and experience will also be considered.
