Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in Psychology from an accredited program. Master's degree in Social Work (clinical specialization) including education in mental health assessment and psychotherapy and who have Psychosocial Intervention Authorization. Master's degree in Occupational Therapy including training and experience in mental health assessment and provision of psychotherapy. Master's degree in Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing including training and experience in mental health assessment and provision of psychotherapy. Active or eligible for registration with the applicable regulatory body. Must hold general registration prior to starting in the position. 5 years' experience in providing mental health assessment and intervention, including restricted activity of psychosocial intervention.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years demonstrated clinical experience and excellence in individual, family and group therapy in an addiction and mental health/psychiatric setting with the identified population of the service area the position will work with. Minimum of 5 years recent (within the last 7 years) adult addiction and mental health experience is required. Extensive training and experience in the assessment and treatment of adults with a severe and persistent mental illness required. Minimum 3 years’ experience providing supervision/mentorship, demonstrating innovative clinical leadership in a dynamic, multidisciplinary team environment. Ability to facilitate and co-facilitate complex groups for acutely mentally ill patients with experience in delivery of psychotherapeutic groups required within the last 5 years. Comprehensive knowledge of regional Mental Health resources and ability to confidently connect clients to those resources required. Knowledge of mental health continuum of service. Clinical skills necessary to support and supervise advanced practitioners with frontline care required. Experience with developing and facilitating educational opportunities for staff and other stakeholder required within the last 7 years. Experience with facilitating and developing group programming with the last 5 years required. Ability to effectively participate in planning and implementation of projects related to achieving portfolio goals and objectives.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in program development and evaluation. Experience in working in partnership with AHS and community stakeholders.
