Master's Degree in Psychology or Social Work. Active or eligible for full registration (not provisional) with College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP) or the Alberta College of Social Work (ACSW). A minimum of 5 years' experience in providing mental health assessment and intervention, including restricted activity of psychosocial intervention.
Additional Required Qualifications:A minimum of a master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Nursing. Registered Social Workers must be authorized to perform psychosocial interventions and designation as a Clinical Social Worker is preferred. Registration in a professional regulatory body in Alberta as defined by the Health Professionals Act (CARNA, CRPNA, ACOT, CAP, ACSW). Current BLS. Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle is required. A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in mental health, with at least 3 years of clinical experience in child and adolescent mental health, preferably in a community-based setting. Advanced knowledge and skill in mental health assessment and intervention, including experience in group facilitation. Experience in program development, implementation, and evaluation. This position has been identified and is anticipated to transition to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. Preferred Qualifications:Experience using an electronic medical record. Course work and/or training specific to Clinical Supervision. Experience in supervision. Leadership experience. Experience with child and adolescent mental health therapeutic interventions such as CBT, EMDR, DBT and Solution-Focused Therapy.
