Master's degree in Psychology or Social Work or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Active or eligible for registration with the applicable Alberta regulatory college. 5 years' experience in providing mental health assessment and intervention, including restricted activity of psychosocial intervention.
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with youth and a strong knowledge base of Children’s’ Services. Excellent knowledge of addictions and mental illness. Extensive knowledge of Suboxone/buprenorphine and Methadone Treatment. Advanced computer literacy. Above average keyboarding skills and proficient with computer programs – Outlook MS Office, Skype, ASIST, etc. Minimum 5 years’ experience in addictions treatment. Minimum 5 years supervisory and mentoring experience. Experience in the development of procedures. Must be knowledgeable in Motivational Interviewing and/or Solution Focused Interventions and have experience in direct clinical supervision. Counselling background and leadership skills and training is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in a virtual program.
