Master's Degree in Psychology or Social Work or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Active or eligible for registration with the applicable regulatory body. Must hold general registration prior to starting in the position. 5 years' experience in providing mental health assessment and intervention, including restricted activity of psychosocial intervention.
Additional Required Qualifications:2 years' experience providing clinical supervision to staff representing a variety of regulated and non-regulated disciplines (i.e.: nursing, psychology, social work, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, child life specialist, behaviour specialist, psychosocial rehabilitation assistants). Training and/or professional development in clinical supervision of health professionals. Knowledge and experience providing mental health care (assessment, intervention, treatment) to a diverse child and adolescent population (urgent, inpatient, community).
Preferred Qualifications:Experience supervising mental health professionals; child and adolescent mental health clinical supervision preferred. Comprehensive understanding of attachment, child development, trauma, family centered care and collaborative problem solving. Proven communication, collaboration and leadership skills with a multidisciplinary team. Brain Story Certification. CPS training. NVCI certification.
