Master's Degree in Psychology or Social Work or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Active or eligible for registration with the applicable regulatory body. Must hold general registration prior to starting in the position. 5 years' experience in providing mental health assessment and intervention, including restricted activity of psychosocial intervention.
Additional Required Qualifications:A minimum of three (3) years experience in the last seven (7) years providing formal clinical supervision. Advanced skills in assessment and intervention for individuals of all ages with addiction and mental health concerns, including crisis intervention skills. Competency in concurrent capable practice within addiction and mental health. Experience with Microsoft Office programs including Skype for Business.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience providing support to clients through a telephony platform. Experience working on a virtual and/or geographically dispersed team. Solid working knowledge of the continuum of Addiction and Mental Health services available within Alberta Health Services, and the range of community-based services that address the social determinants of health. This position is virtual and the successful applicant can be located anywhere within the Central Zone.
