Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an Ambulatory care experience in either clinical or administrative role. Health Care related degree in a clinical field. Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing a unionized workforce in a clinical healthcare setting. Knowledge and experience using relevant healthcare applications (e.g. Connect Care, eClinician, etc.).
Additional Required Qualifications:
Proven skills in relationship building, conflict resolution and mediation. Proven record of leading and relationship building in a Healthcare environment. Familiarity with applicable legislation and professional Standards of Practice. Demonstrated managerial competencies that include excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, problem solving, conflict resolution, analytical thinking, interpersonal and group management skills, change management, organization and project management skills. Demonstrated managerial, organizational and problem-solving skills, with an ability to manage competing priorities and tight timelines. High level of computer proficiency using the Microsoft suite, or other online platforms (e.g. e-People, e-Manager, IAM Portal). Willingness to mentor and coach individuals at all levels of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in a related field. Knowledge of Medical Affairs. Knowledge of Academic Medicine frameworks. Certification related to management, leadership or change management (eg. PROSCI). Registration with a related professional association.
