Eligibility for licensure with the Alberta College of Pharmacists Clinical Register. Baccalaureate or entry level Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from a recognized School of Pharmacy. Completion of a hospital residency OR Post-baccalaureate degree in clinical pharmacy (Pharm D). Has, or demonstrates a plan to obtain, Additional Prescribing Authority with the Alberta College of Pharmacists. Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment and to effectively contribute to patient care. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage change. Ability to translate complex concepts into understandable components. Demonstrated abilities in coaching, teaching, inspiring and building confidence in others.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Experience and knowledge regarding best pharmacist practice, within Alberta and throughout Canada is essential to understanding and positioning Pharmacy from a clinical perspective. Experience in direct patient care environment within the previous 5 years. Proven leadership abilities and an understanding of concepts of adult learning. Demonstrated abilities in research and/or scholarly activity. Ability to prioritize workload aPlease enter information in this field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven ability to foster partnerships with stakeholders inside and outside of Pharmacy. Ability to think in abstract concepts related to the future provision of pharmacy practice. Membership with the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists. An equivalent combination of baccalaureate degree and greater than 5 years of clinical experience may be considered.
