Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Master’s Degree in Nursing required. Minimum 5 years of experience within the past 7 years in acute care nursing. Demonstrated experience within one or more of the following subspecialty areas: BMT, oncology, hematology and/or immunology. Demonstrated progressive nursing leadership experience within last 2 years. Demonstrated experience with knowledge translation, education and/or nursing research. Demonstrated experience in promoting, implementing and evaluating change. Proficiency with computers and advanced knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:CPHON Certification or other equivalent subspecialty certification. Demonstrated experience leading quality improvement and change management initiatives. Demonstrated acute care pediatric experience.
