Completion of bachelor's degree in Nursing or Pharmacy. Active or eligible for registration with the applicable college. Emergency/ICU or critical care nursing experience and/or drug information background.
Additional Required Qualifications:For Pharmacists: Current registration in good standing with Alberta College of Pharmacists (ACP) and Northwest Territories DHSS Professional Licensing Office required. 3 years hospital or clinical pharmacy experience required within the last 5 years. Strong clinical assessment skills and working knowledge of pharmacy. For Registered Nurses: Current registration in good standing with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA) required. The successful candidate will require licensure in Northwest Territories and Nunavut (RNANT/NU) and Saskatchewan (CRNS) with more information provided upon hire. 3 years Acute Care experience required within the last 5 years. Certified Specialist in Poison Information (CSPI) designation an asset. Additional General Required Qualifications for all applicants: Creative, flexible, well-organized, and demonstrated systems thinker. Excellent communication & interpersonal skills including providing peer feedback.. Demonstrated ability to mentor and coach staff. Proven ability to build and foster reciprocal relationships and build consensus. Proven ability to work collaboratively with team members, peers and both internal and external stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications:A Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing is preferred. Emergency, Critical Care nursing experience preferred for registered nurse within the last 5 years.
