Required Qualifications:

Degree/Diploma in Health Related Discipline Required. Current registration with the applicable professional association or college. Minimum 5 years clinical experience.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Demonstrated ability to think systematically and critically to improve quality, realize improved outcomes and engage others in same. Demonstrated ability and comfort with decision-making responsibilities, coaching and teaching, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. Demonstrated experience in planning, communication, facilitation, and coordination of multiple projects/operational work packages. Significant experience in problem solving, concerns/conflict resolution, and investigation, and negotiation. Effective communicator with strong organizational skills, influential skills and client focused orientation and commitment to providing quality services. Ability to work independently (escalating in complex situations) and collaboratively. Ability to promote the change process in a positive manner required. Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office tools including SharePoint, Visio, etc. Comfortable with learning new technology.


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Lab or Unit Nursing. Experience using EBM and development of clinical knowledge and standards provincially an asset. Clinical Informatics knowledge and experience an asset, CPHIMS certification an asset. This role draws upon theory and practice from many disciplines; therefore requiring an understanding of the following: Information Management. Clinical Informatics. Safety and Quality. Information Technology. Analytics and Evaluation techniques.
