Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in a health related field. Active registration with the applicable professional association or college.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Pharmacist degree or Pharmacy Technician diploma. Active license/registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy. 5 years’ experience in hospital pharmacy operations. Demonstrated creative and critical thinking, innovation focused, change orientated individual with strong logical reasoning skills. Demonstrated communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills. Demonstrated time management skills and adaptability when priorities are required to change. Demonstrated ability to be able to work both independently and cooperatively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Membership with pharmacy advocacy groups (PTSA, RxA, CSHP, CAPT, etc.). Prior work on large-scale project(s). Technology knowledge and aptitude: Experience with EPIC and/or other systems, Oracle, WMS, prior programming knowledge. Prior work on implementation of major IT project. Prior work with RFP development.
