Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Alberta College of Paramedics (ACP) Advanced Care Paramedic program. Active registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Paramedics (ACP). Must hold a valid Class 4 Alberta Operator's Licence with no more than six (6) demerits. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). Completion of the Functional Abilities Recruitment Evaluation (F.A.R.E.) test taken no more than six (6) months prior to the application date.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Current Basic Cardiac Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BCLS-HCP) certification (Level C). Able to perform frontline EMS Duties as primary provider. A Drivers abstract submitted at time of application with no more than six (6) demerits, dated no more than 30 days from date of application.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of two (2) years of pre-hospital EMS experience. Peer Support experience and training. Prolonged Exposure Therapy certification. Reintegration Training certification. Microsoft Office Suite experience. Kronos-Telestaff Experience. Proven experience in a leadership role. Record of excellent communication and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to engage and coordinate with multiple stakeholders. Strong understanding of psychological trauma and resources.
