Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Experience with supporting vulnerable populations. Demonstrated ability to maintain strong professional boundaries. Physical requirements of the position include the ability to sit/stand and walk through a large centre as well as use stairs, there is no elevator access. It is also a requirement that the incumbent be physically able to respond to behavioral/clinical emergencies that may occur anywhere in the building.

Preferred Qualifications:

Current Suicide Intervention Training. Preference will be given to those applicants with experience and/or knowledge in an Addictions and Mental Health setting. Education or training within Addictions and Mental Health is an asset. Excellent computer skills are an asset as we use an electronic medical record.
