Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Criminal record with vulnerable sector check required Basic Cardiac Life Support- Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). Experience working with diverse marginalized populations Experience working in the field of public health/ addictions and/or emergency health services Knowledge and understanding of harm reduction principles. Knowledge of community agencies and supports Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations Strong sense of ethics, professional and personal boundaries, and the ability to handle sensitive or private information with discretion and confidentiality. Ability to interact effectively with diverse populations including those from diverse cultural, sexual and socio-economic backgrounds, particularly the homeless and people who use drugs. Successful candidates must be self-directed and demonstate sound judgment and critical thinking. skills and be able to respond quickly and appropriately to changing priorities. Excellent interpersonal skills are required with the ability to effectively maintain collaborative working relationships with the interdisciplinary team. Must exhibit strong time management and prioritization skills, with a demonstrated ability to function effectively within a dynamic environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, electronic medical records and data management programs is also required. This position requires shift work including days, evenings, nights and weekends.
