Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Current Applied Suicide Intervention Training certification required. Current Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training certification required. Basic computer and email skills required. English language proficiency is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in an adult acute practice setting as a Health Care Assistant, Mental Health Aide or Psychiatric Aide. Experience working with clients with addictions and mental health concerns. Ability to adapt quickly to changing and fluctuating workloads and work conditions. Ability to respond to new needs in the role as they arise within initiative and self-directedness.
