Completion of bachelor's degree in Child & Youth Care or a related field or equivalent education and experience.
Additional Required Qualifications:Extensive knowledge/training in early child development. Extensive knowledge of community resources and knowledge of the health care system. 2 years minimum experience working in community/in-home settings supporting children and families. Strong organizational, interpersonal/public relations, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:Preference will be given to applicants with recent experience and familiarity with community agencies involved with the target population. Experience working with interdisciplinary teams. Experience working in collaboration with community partners. Experience working with an Electronic Medical record eg Meditech, is considered an asset.
