Required Qualifications:

A Master’s degree in Theology or Spirituality. Member in good standing of CASC (Canadian Association for Spiritual Care). A Specialist with the Canadian Association for Spiritual Care (CASC) or a commitment to achieve certification within 2 years. At least one (1) year of relevant clinical experience. Ability to educate and empower staff and community clergy to share in the work of spiritual care.


Additional Qualifications:

Effective organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of applicable legislative, AHS and/or departmental policies. Ability to effectively work with diversity. Excellent counseling/clinical skills and compliance with confidentiality requirements. Ability to exercise initiative and good judgment with ability to multi-task. Demonstrated competence in enabling effective team collaboration between colleagues, staff, volunteers and community resources. Knowledge of research procedures, methods, techniques, statistical principles, measurement theories and data collection instruments. This position requires a vehicle for business use. Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a motor vehicle in good repair for work-related travel.
