A Masters’ Degree in Theology and/or Spirituality. A Member in good standing of CASC (Canadian Association for Spiritual Care) or APC (Association of Professional Chaplains). A Specialist with CASC or APC or in process with a commitment to achieve certification within a year. Heart and Stroke BLS (basic life support – requirement for all health care providers).

Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant clinical experience in an acute care clinical setting. Previous exposure/training in clinical ethics or related areas. Experience educating and empowering staff and religious community members to share in the work of spiritual care. Experience with public speaking and group facilitation. Experience with professional computer and technology skills to facilitate interdisciplinary charting and communication. Experience and comfort with a wide range of technologies for business use.
