Required Qualifications:

Active or eligible for registration with the Canadian Board for Certification of Prosthetists and Orthotists (CBCPO).

Additional Required Qualifications:

The Orthotist role in pediatrics can be physically demanding, requiring the candidate to be able to tolerate prolonged sitting/standing, pushing/pulling of equipment, transferring & lifting patients, and the ability to maintain sustained awkward postures during the assessment, castings and other interventions.

Preferred Qualifications:

5 years of recent experience in the assessment and treatment of children. Competencies in AHS computer applications related to care delivery & AHS communications. Competency with Spectra 3D Scanner and CanFit Design. Connect Care experience. Experience in the design of custom or one-of-a-kind orthoses working in conjunction with 3D motion assessment.
