Completion of certificate from an accredited school of Cardiology Technology. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta Society of Registered Cardiology Technologist (ASRCT). Active or eligible for registration with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Completion of certificate from an accredited school of Cardiology Technology. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta Society of Registered Cardiology Technologist (ASRCT). Active or eligible for registration with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). Ability to excel in a multidisciplinary team environment with strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:BCIT Cardiac Rhythm Device technology (Event Certificate) preferred Minimum three years of recent cardiology experience in a hospital setting preferred Connect Care experience in an Ambulatory Clinic Excellent reliability and critical thinking skills Demonstrated understanding of adult learning principles Candidates may be required to write a theory exam during the interview. Failure to achieve a passing mark on the exam may impact the decision to hire.
