Required Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree in business management or business administration with a focus in business development, process development, innovation, resource allocation and project management. Minimum of 5 years’ experience with progressively more responsible and varied roles in a business role/setting (an equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications. Evidence of ongoing professional development. Knowledge of unionized human resource management, budget/financial systems, change management strategies and quality improvement principles.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Demonstrated management and problem solving skills. Ability to adapt leadership style to effectively build and maintain a high performance team. Demonstrated ability to promote teamwork, collaboration and partnership. Able to demonstrate coaching, leading and knowledge transfer. Demonstrated negotiation, conflict resolution, building of consensus and facilitation skills. Ability to synthesize data/information from different sources. Ability to produce reports and communication tools. Conceptual and analytical skills to critically assess information and draw meaningful and relevant conclusions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in unionized human resource management, budget/financial systems, change management strategies and quality improvement principles is an asset. Leadership or management experience in a health care setting is an asset. Community or Continuing Care experience is an asset. Demonstrated project management experience is an asset. Demonstrated change management experience is an asset.
