Completion of a post-secondary degree in a related field, or equivalent level of education and experience.
Additional Required Qualifications:Experience - 3 to 5 years applying progressive knowledge and experience in analytics and business intelligence; and continuous professional training in industry best practices, tools, and methodologies. Technical skills – proficient with business intelligence tools e.g. (Power BI, Tableau) ; data discovery and profiling; intermediate SQL programming skills (SSMS); understands data models; creates and implements testing and validation scripts; able to support BI environment and resolve issues. Analytical skills - innovates information solutions using analytical problem-solving and development methodologies; experience performing business, system, and data analysis; identifies and raises information risks; and understands and translates business requirements into technical implementations and business visualizations. Communication skills - excellent oral and written communication skills; active listening, engagement, and interpretation abilities; able to estimate and plan in a team environment; writes clear and concise technical and business documentation; draws workflows; articulates issues and solutions; and engages and collaborates with others to achieve consensus.
Preferred Qualifications:Prefer experience using Microsoft SQL Server tools, training in multiple BI tools, and history of excellent customer engagement. Demonstration of independent learning to complete, pass, and apply technical and analytical course material while managing job tasks is an asset.
