Completion of a post-secondary degree in a related field, or equivalent level of education and experience.
Additional Required Qualifications:3-5 years of work experience specific to business analysis activities including application of core and advanced business analysis processes, tools and techniques. Competency in all core aspects and techniques of business analysis. Good facilitation and written/verbal communication skills; experience in a variety of stakeholder engagement techniques including both one-on-one and group facilitation. Strong requirements documentation skills, with proven ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, distinguish stated requirements from underlying true business needs, and convey requirements information effectively to stakeholders and implementation teams. Understanding of business process design, modeling, and visualization, as well as Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) standards. Experience in problem solving, negotiation, concerns/conflict resolution and investigation. Experience as a Business Analysis preferred ability to work with a high degree of autonomy, planning and monitoring of one’s own and BA team workload. Able to work in an organization with both direct and dotted-line reporting and peer relationships. Commitment to learning as a continuous process and ability to handle and respond to constructive feedback and demonstrated ability to coach and mentor others.
Preferred Qualifications:Membership in a professional organization related to business analysis and/or health informatics (e.g. IIBA), Certification related to business analysis and/or health informatics is preferred (e.g. CBAP), Experience with Staff Scheduling business process change and implementation of Workforce Management solution, Experience in using common applications such as MS-Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, Project, SharePoint).
