Completion of PhD in Statistics or Biostatistics. Minimum of 2 years as a biostatistician or related experience. Master’s degree in Statistics or Biostatistics with 5 years of applicable experience will be considered. Extensive knowledge of statistical theory and application. Experience with statistical analyses of complex and large datasets including advanced multivariate and longitudinal modeling. Experience with population-based data. Experience with Sample size estimation, clinical trials and mentorship. Advanced expertise with statistical computing in SAS and R. Proven statistical computing skills. Experience working with administrative data bases and sources. Experience in a consultation/instruction role. Biostatistical consulting experience. Please enter information in this field.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Organized, resourceful and self-starting, with meticulous attention to detail. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to use sound judgment and diplomacy while interacting with staff and clients.
Preferred Qualifications:
5 years of experience in health data, preferably administrative data. P.Stat. or A.Stat. Designation with the Statistical Society of Canada. Experience in oncology. Experience with the application of machine learning using in health care.
