Required Qualifications:

Completion of a two year diploma in Biomedical Engineering Technology from an accredited Institute of Technology. Active or eligible for registration as a Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) with The Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta (ASET).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Candidates with an equivalent or related educational degree are acceptable. The candidate must have at least four years of experience working with complex medical equipment. Experience with OR equipment, including gas machines, anesthesia equipment, system integration, patient monitoring systems, microscopes, and digital OR systems, as well as intermediate proficiency in computer software applications, are considered assets. The candidate must be willing and able to perform fieldwork at zonal sites. Candidates are also expected to be available for on-call duties and after-hours work as needed to meet operational requirements.
