Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in Psychology. Minimum of two years' experience in a Mental Health setting. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS - HCP). Current Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification. Possession of a valid driver's licence and access to a motor vehicle in good repair for work-related travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

Able to assist in the community dealing with clients who are aggressive. This may include restraining and lifting. Must be able to understand, read, write and speak English. Two years’ experience in a mental health setting with clients who have both mental health and developmental disability issues. Previous experience in community mental health setting is preferred. Previous experience working with neuro-developmental disorders (autism, FASD, genetic disorders, brain injury) is preferred.
