Degree or diploma in a related healthcare field. 5 years relevant experience in healthcare delivery or management. Computer skills essential. Familiarity with the health professions act and other related legislation and professional standards of practice. A combination of education, skills and experience may be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Demonstrated leadership skills and abilities. Must be able to integrate and apply clinical excellence in day-to-day operations. Demonstrated optimism and enthusiasm about the Respiratory Therapy Department and Sleep Lab. Commitment to continuous quality improvement and Patient and Family centered care. Excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, problem solving, conflict resolution, analytical thinking, change management, organization, project management skills, and good interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent and current knowledge in all clinical aspects of service delivery within Respiratory Therapy and Sleep Lab. Graduate of a recognized School of Respiratory Therapy or related healthcare field. Previous supervisory/management experience. Completion of courses or certificates in leadership.
