Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Proficient computer skills – MS Outlook, MS Office required. Obstetrical triage experience required. Fetal Health Surveillance Instructor Preferred or history of FHS facilitation. Ability to travel throughout Central Zone required. Minimum 5 years recent Labor/Delivery experience (within the last 7 years) in rural nursing. Experience in creation/facilitation of orientation/education in obstetrics with rural nursing.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in participating in research, policy development, project initiation, implementation and evaluation an asset. Advanced obstetrical operating room training preferred. History of supporting Accreditation preferred. Experience in leading quality improvement projects an asse
