Required Qualifications:

Undergraduate health related degree (e.g. epidemiology, statistics, public health, etc.) with strong skills in statistics, data manipulation and analysis. Minimum of 2 years’ experience with data analysis or research in a public health setting. Equivalencies in education and experience will be considered.

Additional Required Qualifications:

In addition, the incumbent will possess the following attributes: Proficiency in SAS, SQL, ArcGIS and interactive data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau). Strong skills in statistics, biostatistics, epidemiology, and working with large and complex health-related data sets. Knowledge of communicable disease and syndromic surveillance. Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills. Demonstrated ability to work well independently in a high-paced team setting. Demonstrated pattern of professional and personal development. Experience coordinating multidisciplinary projects that involve multiple stakeholders would be ideal. Understanding of research methods and operations.
