Required Qualifications:

Post-secondary degree or diploma in a field related to adult learning. Must: Understand the needs and characteristics of adult learners and adult learning principles. Be skilled at interpersonal communications, all method of facilitation, leading group discussions and resolving group conflicts. Know how to use instructional aides and equipment (flipcharts, projectors, video players, presentation hardware and software). Have strong computer and organizational skills for preparing course materials and delivery of courses Have working knowledge of e learning methods and tools. Able to work independently, be innovative and self-confident.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Relevant certifications: CHRP, CSTD, CACE, CCM, PROSCI or other related field to maintain currency and proficiency. Experience in a health care and/or unionized environment considered an asset.


Preferred Qualifications:

A minimum 2 years’ experience in learning and development in a healthcare organization in preferred. Previous experience in learning and development and/or human resources, ideally in an organization or significant size, complexity and diversity is preferred.
