8+ years’ experience in Journalism, English, or Communications. Must have advanced writing experience in health promotion, disease prevention, or cancer prevention. Experience in creating multimedia (video, graphics, etc.) for online and social media Experience in editing scientific copy and fact checking. Experience in journalism and writing on scientific issues for the news media, industry journals, or academic publishers. Conflict management expertise focusing on group dynamics and diverse priorities Ability to manage and prioritize work and meet deadlines. Advanced skills in presentations and written communication to staff, stakeholders, and other partners. Aptitude for building and sustaining complex relationships with key internal (zone and provincial) and high-level external (Alberta Health) stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience collaborating with diverse AHS stakeholder groups (i.e., SCNs). Certificate in Technical Communications is an asset.
