Required Qualifications:

Canadian Health Information Management Certification required. A minimum of 5 years' experience in release of information in alignment with legislation and AHS standards and guidelines.

Additional Required Qualifications:

A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in records management, data and information management, release of information, information privacy, standards development, research or health informatics, or data and information governance in an organization of significant size, scope, complexity and diversity (healthcare experience an asset). Demonstrated understanding of the principles of release of information. Demonstrated understanding of information management strategies, concepts and processes and how these are applied in health care systems or government organizations. Skills and knowledge required for defining information management governance, standards, policies and procedures and leading usiness and/or Information Technology transformational initiatives. Facilitation experience liaising and consultation with multiple and diverse stakeholders and interest groups. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Significant experience in problem solving and concern resolution. Demonstrated ability to foster relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. Commitment to innovation in service delivery and continuous improvement. Demonstrated skills in business analysis. Ability to relay or explain complex issues or difficult situations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in complex multi-disciplinary issue resolution Understanding aspects of Data Management Familiarity with Clinical Information Systems Strong networking, communication and negotiation skills Politically astute skills in negotiation, facilitation and conflict resolution Experience in project planning, execution, reporting, monitoring and evaluation Experience with leveraging provincial, national and international standards Ability to clearly convey information about complex subjects
