Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. diploma in business or office administration, specialized external certification).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Secretarial/Business courses. Knowledge and understanding of the PARA Collective Agreement, Post Graduate Medical Education Policies, Guidelines and Principles, University of Calgary E-procurement, eFin and expense reimbursements and University of Calgary Rural Physician Program. Two years of secretarial experience working with physicians or health care administration. Experience with University systems including One45, Peoplesoft, E-procurement, CARMS, D2L, Qualtrics, efin, non-employee expense module etc. Experience dealing with a variety of personality types in a highly professional manner. Knowledge of basic records management. Keyboarding skills (type approximately 65 words per minute). Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, calendar, e-mail, SharePoint and Zoom. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organization and time management skills. A high level of confidentiality is involved. A positive attitude and being a team player are highly desired. Excellent attention to detail is critical. Ability to attend to detailed tasks with frequent interruptions. Ability to communicate effectively in English. Must be fully capable/qualified to perform all duties and tasks listed in the Post Graduate Medical Education Program Administrator Profile.
