Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum of two years senior level administrative assistant experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Advance computer skills required in Microsoft office suite, Database & Visio experience an asset. Proven ability to work with a team as a contributing member. Demonstrate problem solving and decision-making skills to anticipate, identify, and independently recommend appropriate actions to complex administrative issues. Must be able to maintain a professional attitude while exercising judgement, tact, diplomacy and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive and confidential issues. Demonstrates the ability to work with frequent interruptions. Competently handles changing priorities within tight deadlines. Cover letter required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Post-secondary office administration certificate and/or education in business, human resources is preferred. Working knowledge of Alberta Health Services systems and processes including familiarity with policies, financial, and human resource information systems.
