Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).

Additional Required Qualifications:

At least 5 years of event management experience. Minimum 3 years supervising staff. Demonstrated experience with complex planning and coordination for large-scale projects. Knowledge of audio visual, room setup and catering service arrangements. Knowledge of reporting. Knowledge of Skype for business. Strong knowledge of MS Office including MS Excel. Ability to meet the physical demands of the job; navigating to multiple sites in a timely fashion and carrying a laptop, documents or light objects (for example projectors, stands).

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of SharePoint and MS Visio preferred. Experience in a Health Care setting preferred. Completion of the Event Management Certification preferred. Working knowledge of an event booking system preferred.
