Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the past 5 years working in a progressive administrative support position. Experience working with culturally diverse and vulnerable populations. Knowledge of information systems and databases. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook. Demonstrated ability to be self-directed, highly motivated, and results driven. Demonstrated ability to communicate confidently and professionally (written and verbal); strong interpersonal skills. Excellent organization skills. Ability to prioritize assigned tasks, manage competing priorities within defined timelines. Ability to establish and maintain effective and respectful working relationships with a wide variety of people. Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, consultative manner and establish and maintain effective and respectful working relationships with a wide variety of clients, colleagues, and team members. Demonstrated ability to problem solve and use sound judgement. Strong communication skills required for working with internal and external stakeholders. A combination of education and experience may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of Chronic Disease Programs and Services within the Calgary Zone. Experience working in health care. Completion of a certificate or diploma in a healthcare program.
