Your Opportunity:

As the Administrative Support Scheduler Liaison (ASSL) for Unit 81 Orthopedics, Unit 82 Urology, the Cast Clinic, and the Hand Clinic, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day scheduling tasks of employees and managers. You will ensure that employees are scheduled appropriately and pay data is captured in accordance with established policies, procedures, and collective agreement provisions. You will support the units by assisting with WFM, Rotation Management, RMS and in interpreting information from staffing/scheduling reports and statistics. You will liaise with multiple business areas within AHS. As the successful candidate you will demonstrate: strong communication skills, effective team leadership skills, critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills, organization and prioritization skills, and will be adept at conflict resolution. Additionally, you will have proven adaptability with an emphasis on collaboration and a positive attitude toward change. You will actively promote and facilitate a positive environment in the workplace, promoting and fostering a team attitude of acceptance and tolerance. The ASSL works autonomously and requires extensive knowledge of the areas of responsibility for scheduling due to the impact of staff schedules on patient care. Work is conducted with minimal supervision, with demand for accuracy and attention to detail, and strict adherence to confidentiality. The work environment is one of constant interruptions, short timelines and constantly changing priorities which demand flexibility and organization to meet workload demands. AHS CARES represents our five core values in action. Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Excellence, and Safety, are at the heart of everything we do.
