Your Opportunity:
The South Health Campus is an innovative concept that is more than a “hospital.” It is built in a campus environment and includes inpatient, outpatient, and wellness services, as well as prevention, public health education and learning opportunities for community members. These pillars are the key philosophical principles to be used in the development and implementation of all care to patients and families at SHC. Under the direction of the ICU/CCU Manager/Unit Manager this position is responsible for ensuring that the business of staffing, scheduling, payroll and other clerical duties will ensure the effective and efficient operation of the SHC ICU/CCU. Responsibilities: Ensure the ICU/CCU is appropriately staffed, in collaboration with WFM. Collaborate with the management team in the planning, implementation and evaluation of time-off and vacation requests. Manage the ICU/CCU payroll. Analyze staffing / scheduling patterns to determine if changes to rotation / work-plan should be recommended to the management team. Analyze employee reports, and identify potential problems that may need the management team’s follow up (i.e. excessive / patterns of sick time). Initiates activities in e-people / RMS (including postings, documentation) at the direction of the management team. Arrange meetings for the Manager and take minutes when required.

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).
Additional Required Qualifications:Two years of experience in a hospital setting.
Preferred Qualifications:Proficient with WFM , e-people, RMS, payroll, Microsoft word applications and Oracle. Excellent interpersonal skills. Able to work independently.
