Your Opportunity:

Are you passionate about improving patient safety and healthcare quality through the effective management of critical safety information? Alberta Health Services is seeking a highly organized and analytical professional to join the Medical Device Safety Program (MDSP) as an Administrative Support V within the Product Quality and Safety team. In this unique role, you will support provincial efforts to manage medical device and product recalls, alerts, advisories, and other safety-related information that impacts patients, healthcare providers, and healthcare operations. You will gather, review, analyze, and manage information from a variety of sources, including Health Canada, manufacturers, distributors, clinical teams, and internal reporting systems, helping ensure timely action and informed decision-making across the healthcare system. As a key member of a specialized provincial team, you will independently manage complex information, maintain critical databases and records, prepare reports and communications, and support quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives. Your work will contribute directly to patient safety, staff safety, product quality, and regulatory compliance across Alberta's health system. Success in this role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong critical thinking skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
