Administrative Support V
Your Opportunity:
Are you a detail-oriented problem solver with payroll experience and a passion for helping others? We're looking for an experienced Administrative Support V to join our Functional - Payroll team. In this role, you'll be a trusted resource for employees, managers, and HR partners, providing expert guidance and support on a wide range of payroll matters. You'll investigate and resolve complex payroll issues, process payroll adjustments, and help ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. This position offers the opportunity to work independently while collaborating with a diverse group of stakeholders across Human Resources, Finance, Benefits, Labour Relations, and external partners. You'll also play an important role in improving payroll processes by identifying opportunities for greater efficiency, participating in testing of system enhancements, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. We're looking for someone who enjoys analyzing information, solving complex problems, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining confidentiality. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must. Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).
Additional Required Qualifications:Payroll certification (such as Payroll Compliance Professional certification) is required for this role.
Preferred Qualifications:Payroll experience in a large, complex organization with multiple employee groups. Experience working with enterprise HR/payroll systems such as PeopleSoft, ServiceNow, SharePoint, or similar applications. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including working with large datasets, formulas, and reporting.
