Your Opportunity:
The Administrative Support V is a member of the Capital Management (Central) team within the Finance & Corporate Shared Services portfolio. This position provides advanced-level administrative support to the Executive Director of Capital Management (Central) as well as support to the other members of the Capital Management (Central) leadership team and staff. This role supports functions in the areas of finance, human resources, IT, Projects, Facilities Maintenance & Engineering, Clinical Engineering, Workplace Health and Safety, contracts/procurement/contractor management, and more. The Admin V collaborates with the Capital Management (Central) leadership team and other associates within healthcare to prioritize and respond to ongoing novel requests. The Admin V must be adept at maintaining cohesion by utilizing proven conflict resolution skills both within their team and for internal and external colleagues. As an essential portfolio within Health Shared Services, Capital Management provides Albertans with safe, well designed, well maintained, efficient and sustainable health care equipment and facilities to support the delivery of high-quality client, patient and family focused health services. The portfolio facilitates and coordinates the development of provincial standards and policies, operations processes, best practices and key performance indicators. We are recruiting an experienced, highly organized and dynamic Administrative Assistant to deliver professional support for portfolios. You will join a team of supportive peers and colleagues located throughout Alberta who are dedicated to providing exemplary customer service.

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).
Additional Required Qualifications:5 years administrative experience in healthcare. Considerable working knowledge of the Alberta healthcare landscape (HSS, AHS, ALA, ACA, RA, CCA, etc.). Considerable working knowledge of HSS computer systems including Oracle (iProcurement, iExpense, the OPC, etc.), eManager/eLeader, ePeople (beyond self-service), RMS, eFacilities (beyond self-service), Tableau, MyLearningLink (beyond self-service), etc. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:Training/certification (or proven experience/expertise) in the Microsoft and M365 suite of software including Excel (including macros & automations), Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Power Bi, Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot, Teams, and SharePoint. Training/certification in Change Management is an asset. Training/certification in project coordination or project management is an asset.
