Administrative Support V
Your Opportunity:
The Administrative Assistant V provides diversified and advanced administrative expertise to the Executive Director for the Medicine, Critical Care, MAiD, and Integrated Operations Centre Programs at the Royal Alexandra Hospital. This is a demanding position that requires extensive knowledge, skill, and initiative to effectively navigate the healthcare environment with a high degree of independence. Working within a fast-paced environment and multiple competing demands, the administrative assistant acts as a delegate for the Executive Director and as an information conduit within the portfolio, clinical divisions, RAH and other AHS sites, Corridor and Provincial departments. The incumbent will be responsible to make independent decisions to navigate and solve problems effectively. This position assists with the day-to-day operations by providing a full range of administrative duties including complex calendar management, scheduling and prioritizing meetings, preparing and drafting letters, minutes, communications, presentations, spreadsheets and other documentation as required for the Executive Director. Researches, organizes, prioritizes and responds to requests for information to support programs, activities and committee work. The successful candidate must demonstrate an attitude of welcoming, appreciation and pride in their work that is in line with essential employee habits of the RAH WAY.
