Administrative Support V
Your Opportunity:
Reporting to the Patient Care Manager, and Unit Managers for Operative Services, the Administrative Support V is a key critical member of the portfolio leadership team. This position will provide comprehensive program and administrative support to the Program Manager’s portfolio program areas including Pediatric Operating Room, Surgical Short Stay Unit, Pre Admission Clinic and Post Anesthetic Care Unit. The incumbent will provide a high level of professional and provide well organized support to the team and other Stollery Program areas. It is expected the incumbent works capably and independently, displaying excellent judgment and interpersonal skills and will be responsible for the effective and efficient operation of the administrative office. The incumbent ensures an efficient flow of communications and maintaining relationships with stakeholders. The incumbent works independently to complete assigned operational responsibilities meeting strict deadlines. The Administrative Support V is the point of contact for the portfolio in many instances, dealing with other departments and programs throughout the province. The Administrative Support V must independently identify daily priorities in an accurately skilled and timely manner and identify how to best assist the PCM from day to day.

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).
Additional Required Qualifications:Completion of post-secondary diploma/certificate in Office Administration (or equivalent) required. A minimum of three years’ experience in a senior administrative position. The candidate must be proficient and experienced in Microsoft Office software, including, but not limited to scheduling meetings, e-mail, word processing, presentations and spreadsheets. The candidate must be able to demonstrate proficiency with meeting preparation & minute taking. Must have timekeeper experience. Strong understanding of MS Office suite, e-People, RMS, Oracle, Markview, e-Manager, i-Expense, e-Facilities.
